Do you want to be FREE from addiction?
Do you want to be FREE from addiction?
Pindari House is a Male Rehabilitation Program that helps you change your life, breaking FREE from addiction and life-controlling issues.
Are you trapped in the vicious cycle of addiction?
Do you have the courage to take the path to freedom?
Simply detoxing from your addictive habit won’t provide lasting change, nor will it give you the understanding and tools to fight in the future.
Pindari is a long-term rehab in Perth for males who have the courage to work to change their life.
We believe that tackling addiction starts with the courage to ask for help.
No one can force you to want to change, you must decide that you are going to do what it takes to change your life.
Making the decision is the first step of the journey, but once you’re on the path, we are here to guide you through the process.
Our program provides a high level of individual care for residents. We are a boutique high care rehabilitation centre at a budget price. Pindari has excellent facilities and an intensive therapuetic program that would be hard to rival in Perth Western Australia.
We provide the environment, framework and guidance for recovery through the Pindari Program.
This is a structured framework that will not only aid in overcoming physical addiction but focus on long-term lifestyle changes.
Our addiction recovery program is focused on lasting, achievable change.
Pindari is a long-term residential (Live-In) program for Males struggling with addiction and other life controlling issues.
Pindari offer a trauma-informed therapy approach, professional curriculum and counselling in an environment that focuses on breaking free from of addiction and life controlling issues.
Pindari provides a safe and nurturing environment where participants embark on a transformative journey of recovery.
We have a dedicated team of professionals who provide support through an evidence-based therapuetic program.
What addictions can Pindari support?
Pindari supports men with a wide range of addictions, as well as the life-controlling behaviours and concerns that often come with it. These include:
- Non-Illicit, Illicit and Prescription Drug addictions
- Alcoholism
- Behavioural addictions (gambling, sex, video games, pornography)
These addictions often coincide with life-controlling concerns that we help to overcome, including:
- Anxiety and Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- Major Depressive Disorders
- Eating Disorders
Unfortunately, we cannot support those with severe mental illnesses at this time. We recommend seeking help from in-patient medical facilities if you suffer from addiction along with Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Kleptomania or similar.
How severe does my addiction need to be?
Often people can be blinded to how bad their addiction is and how much it is impacting their life. So it could be fair to say that even if you feel that your challenges aren’t severe enough for professional help, you will greatly benefit from the support. When you are walking through the depths of addiction, finding the path out can be really challenging, and it is our role at Pindari to guide you along that path.
If you are wondering if you fit the criteria for having an addiction, we recommend you give us a call and we can talk about your specific situation. You can also ask yourself the following questions to gauge if your challenges are due to addictive behaviours:
1. Do I ever have uncontrollable urges to do or take something to help me feel better?
2. Am I trying to keep these behaviours a secret from the people around me?
3. Do I feel worried that people will criticise me for or be hurt by my choices?
4. Are these uncontrollable urges consuming my thoughts?
5. Can I say ‘No’ to myself when I have these urges or desires?
What is a long term (live-in) ‘Residential’ Program?
Similar to in-patient treatment facilities, Pindari House provides you with on-site room and board for the duration of the program. This is not a residential housing program for males looking for a bed or home*, our housing is only available for people who are actively enrolled in the Pindari Program.
*If this is what you are looking for, we suggest reaching out to Under His Wings for support with your daily living essentials.
What is the Pindari Program timeline?
We have developed our framework to run over a 12-month period. However, our timeline is flexible and is based on your individual needs and progression through the program. Our goal is to set you up for success, rather than just ‘tick the boxes’, so we tailor our program and its duration on a case by case basis.
How do I know if Pindari is right for me?
To achieve transformative healing through the Pindari Program we want to emphasise the importance of having the right attitude. You will be a great fit for the program if you have a growth and action mindset, ready to face the challenging terrain of change. You know that change is hard, but you are determined and have the courage to work through it.
Our program is hard work, we don’t want to sugarcoat it, but we provide the support and safety net you need throughout the journey in order to see the change you set out to achieve.
How much does the Pindari Program Cost?
We don’t want to make money a barrier for taking action towards change! With this in mind, the amount we charge is considerably lower than the actual cost of the Pindari Program (actual cost is $1650 per week for a resident).
The weekly charge is $500* per week.
*However, those either on Centrelink or eligible for Centrelink are only charged 80% of their Centrelink payment, or a minimum of $300 per week, whichever is greater.
This amount helps to contribute to the housing, food and program costs. Pindari seeks to cover the shortfall through fundraising and sponsorship within our local community. We are grateful fop the community support we recieve.
In addition to the weekly fee, we require an upfront (non refundable) entry fee of $750. Should you have no ID and are unable to obtain a Police Clearance this upfront amount is $1,000.
In Summary:
$750 entry fee as a once off non-refundable payment
PLUS
$500*/week for the duration of your time in the program
